Founded in 2007, NCU Clinical Medicine Postdoctoral Mobile Research Station (hereinafter referreds to as MRS) is a breakthrough in the medical field of Jiangxi Province. It is also of far-reaching significance for developing Jiangxi’s medical and health undertakings.

The MRS is built mainly relying on the discipline of clinical medicine, which is a key discipline of the “211 Project”, a first-class discipline of the overall construction of high-level universities in Jiangxi Province, as well as the advantageous discipline co-constructed by the Chinese Ministry of Education and Jiangxi Province. The MRS is based in a lot of large comprehensive Grade-A tertiary hospitals like NCU First and the Second Affiliated Hospital, the School of Basic Medical Medicine, the School of Pharmacy, and other scientific research institutions. The MRS has 2 state-level scientific research platforms, 1 Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, 9 national key clinical specialties, and many other national and provincial key research centers. Its main research directions include internal medicine, surgery, neurology, pathology, medical imaging, oncology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, obstetrics, gynecology, etc.

Since the establishment of the MRS, it has constructed a talent team with Complete disciplines, reasonable structure, and robust strength. It includes 1 innovation team of the Ministry of Education, 9 provincial excellent science and technology innovation teams, 1 candidate of the Innovation Program of the National Major Talents Project, 2 winners of the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, 3 distinguished professors of National Major Talent Project of the Ministry of the Education,1 candidate of National Special Support Program for High-level Talent, 5 candidates of Ten Thousand Talents Program, 1 candidate of Young Talent Program of National Major Talent Project, 1 candidate of Program for New Century Excellent Talents of Ministry of Education of China, 5 distinguished professors of Jiangxi Province, 59 candidates of Ganpo Talent 555 Project, and 66 special allowance experts of the State Council. Since its establishment, it has cultivated a group of outstanding talents in the field of medical science and technology, which has provided strong support for the progress of clinical medical discipline in Jiangxi Province, laying a sound foundation for the development of medical and health undertakings in Jiangxi province.

In accordance with the tenet of “openness, mobility, cooperation, and competition”, the MRS recruits outstanding doctoral graduates from inside and outside of Jiangxi province who have the same research interests as the cooperative mentor of MRS every year.
